The Bard who Made Ogre Jelly

There once was a Bard from Obon
She was like none other that I knew
For not only was this Bard a woman
But her songs indeed, they were strange too!

Now my opinion of her may be clouded
For the only time I heard her sing
She was surrounded by a horde of Ogres
And singing a strange lively tune

And it went:
"Blueberry pie doth sing!
Blueberry pie…Doth sing
It sings for you and sings for me
And takes our heart strings on a key!"

Now I don't know about you
But that song is strange from the first verse!
And apparently the ogres thought so too
For as they listened they all laughed
And laughed some more

Well, It turns out she wasn't finished
For there was another verse and a second chorus
But I won't torture you by repeating
This atrocious monstrosity called a song
I'll only recount the result of what she sung

With each verse the ogres laughed harder
Until they wound up on the floor
Till finally they laughed so hard
They could never have laughed more
Now what comes next, that's a treat!

They all expanded, in their bellies
And exploded with a mighty bang!
Now imagine my surprise at all this ogre jelly!
When I asked her name, she turned to me and said
"I am Nelly who made Ogre Jelly!"
Now what'd ya think of that?
